About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Automation QA Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated test suites, identifying bugs, and ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and manual QA to understand feature requirements and create test plans.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and ensure test coverage across critical components.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and raise defects with detailed documentation.
• Contribute to overall testing strategies and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or automated solutions.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with test case management tools.
