Position Overview:
As the Sales Executive for ERP Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and customer acquisition in the Indian market. You will leverage your understanding of ERP software, B2B sales, and the Indian business landscape to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close sales. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, and will work closely with the marketing, customer success, and product teams to deliver exceptional value to clients.
    
Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities in key industries such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, logistics, and education.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Understand customer needs, pain points, and objectives to present tailored ERP solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Product Demos & Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and capabilities of the ERP system.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers in client organizations.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals effectively, ensuring a win-win for both the company and the customer.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, providing regular updates and forecasts to the sales manager.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine the sales approach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure smooth lead handover, onboarding, and post-sale support.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, achievements, and challenges. Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Experience:  

  • 4-7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably with experience selling ERP solutions, business software, or technology products.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of the ERP software landscape, especially within the Indian market.

Skills & Competencies: 

  •  Sales Skills: Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills. 
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate technical product features and benefits to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Indian business ecosystem and understanding of key sectors (manufacturing, retail, healthcare, etc.). 
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales processes and track performance. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. 
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems and SaaS sales models.
