Any leaves that are not approved by the manager, will not show up in the Time Logs
Once a leave request is approved, then those leave dates will have entries in to the employee Time Logs (one entry for one date)
In case of Approved as LOP, you will still get the entry in the Time Logs, but that will be highlighted in Red color, representing these dates and hours will not be counted for your pay roll as these are Loss Of Pay Leaves.
