How to Clock-in & Clock-Out?

The Clock In/Out feature allows employees to track their working hours efficiently. It also supports requesting a different time if the user forgot to clock in. This option is accessible from both the Top Menu and the Left Sidebar under the Time section.

  1. 🔐 Go to www.officegx.com and log in using your employee credentials.
  2. 📋 Access Clock In/Out via:
    • Top navigation bar: Time ⏱️ → Clock In/Out
    • Left sidebar menu: Time → Clock In/Out
  3. ⏱️ On the Clock-In page:
    • Select your Project 📁 and Activity 🎯.
    • Optionally, you can enter a Comment 💬.
    • Click Clock In to start tracking your time.
  4. ⏳ If you missed your clock-in:
    • Check the box "Request a different clock in time".
    • Add a comment explaining the reason for the request.
    • ✅ This request will be sent to your Reporting Manager (RM) for approval.
  5. 🕔 Clock Out:
    • Return to the same Clock In/Out screen.
    • If clocked in, you’ll see the session info and a Clock Out button.
    • Click it to end your session.

📌 Note: Always ensure you select the correct project and activity. Comments help document work context and missed logs for manager review.
