How to Config List View in Project Mangement System?
Click on Context
Menu
Project
Config
ListView.
Click on
"Add New List View"
You will get a popup window where you can see fields namely
Name
Name here indicates Title of a List View (Eg: QA, My Open Works... )
Display Order
Display Order is nothing but an order which is listed in the drop down.
According to the chosen numeric the List View will be displayed in the dropdown.
Is Default
If you want to make this List view as Standard/Custom when you open your work items then you can make this as "Is Default" by enabling the checkbox.
User Role
You can give access to the User basing on their roles.
Choose the Roles from the given Dropdown.
Is Active
If you want to keep this List View as Operational or live then you need to enable
Is Active
checkbox
After filling all the above-mentioned fields click on "
Add"
button
Expand the Newly added List view in Config page and you can see three tabs namely
Filter Field
Click on "
Add New Filter
" button.
You will find fields like
Field Name
Field Name here indicates Title of a "
Filter
"
You can choose the field name from the dropdown.
The values in the drop down are from
custom list view
Values
Choose the values from the dropdown.
Values will be displayed based on selected Field name.
After filling all fields click on "
Update
" button.
Display Field
Click on "
Add New Display Field
" button.
You will find fields like
Field Name
Field Name here indicates Title of a
"Display Field"
Display Order
The Sequence order that is listed in the dropdown of basing on the numerics you have given(Eg: 1.Project, 2.Requestor. )
After filling all fields click on "
Update
" button.
Grouping Field
Click on "
Add New Grouping Field
" button
You will find fields like
Field Name
Group Order
After filling all fields click on "
Update
" button.
