How to enable back-date time entries?

The Back-Date Logging feature allows a user to enter time logs for past dates - helpful for retroactive log entries, adjustments, or forgotten tasks. This option is accessible from both the User List screen and the Edit User profile screen.

  1. 🔐 Go to www.officegx.com and log in using your Administrator credentials.
  2. 📋 From the left sidebar, navigate to Admin > Users. This will open a list of all users in the system.
  3. 👥 In the User Listscreen:
    • Locate the user for whom you want to enable back-date logging.
    • 🖱️ Click the Enable Back-Date Logging toggle/icon next to the user’s name.
    • ✅ This action immediately enables the back-date log option for that specific user.
  4. 👤 Alternatively, click on the user’s Display Name to open their profile.
  5. ⚙️ On the Edit Userpage:
    • You will find the same Enable Back-Date Logging option available.
    • 🖱️ Click to activate it for the user.
  6. 🕒 Once enabled:
    • The user will now see the Add Log button enabled on their Time Logs page.
    • This allows them to create logs for past dates based on project or shift history.

📌 Note: This setting is user-specific and can be toggled on or off at any time by an administrator.
