1. Which Operating Systems does OfficeGx support?

OfficeGx is a cloud-based ERP platform designed for cross-platform compatibility. It supports:

  • Windows: 10, 11, and later
  • macOS: Mojave (10.14) and newer
  • Linux: Ubuntu 20.04+ and other major distros (web access only)
  • Mobile OS: Android 9.0+ and iOS 13+

Note: Some advanced features such as drag-and-drop Kanban boards and resume parsing are best experienced on desktop platforms.


2. What browsers are supported for using OfficeGx?

OfficeGx supports all modern web browsers. Optimal performance is guaranteed on:

  • Google Chrome (latest 2 versions)
  • Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) (latest 2 versions)
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest 2 versions)
  • Apple Safari (macOS/iOS versions)

Legacy versions of Internet Explorer are not supported.


3. Can I use OfficeGx on tablets and smartphones?

Yes. OfficeGx is fully accessible via responsive web design across:

  • Smartphones: Android and iPhones
  • Tablets: iPads, Android tablets

While the platform is optimized for mobile use, administrative configurations and certain visual dashboards (e.g., Kanban, burndown charts) are better suited for desktops or tablets.


4. Is there a dedicated mobile app for OfficeGx?

Currently, OfficeGx is a progressive web app (PWA), which means you can install it directly from your browser onto your device for a native-like experience. A dedicated app for iOS and Android is in development.


5. Does OfficeGx require any plugins or installations?

No, OfficeGx is entirely web-based. All modules (HRMS, CRM, Project Management, Helpdesk, CMS, etc.) are accessible through the browser without the need for additional plugins or desktop software installations.


6. Can I access OfficeGx offline?

Limited offline capabilities are available through the PWA version, which allows for caching of some features. However, most operations require an internet connection for real-time data sync and multi-user collaboration.


7. What screen resolution is recommended for the best OfficeGx experience?

OfficeGx is designed to be responsive and works on all screen sizes. However, for optimal usability, we recommend:

  • Minimum Resolution: 1280 x 720 (HD)
  • Recommended Resolution: 1366 x 768 or higher
  • Best Experience: 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) or higher on desktop/laptop screens
Some modules like Project Management (Kanban view), Analytics Dashboards, and CMS layout tools are best viewed on larger screens (13”+ displays).
